Fake Cult - Demo
Fake Cult is an intense and dark hardcore punk band from Bethlehem, PA that came out of nowhere last year with this 3 song demo. They're broken up now.
Golden Buffet
Golden Buffet is from Buffalo and i don't know shit about them. Songs are about wanting things and not wanting some things and doing stuff and each one has a different tone about it. The first song Maxwell's Demon is just banjo and vocals and the repetitiveness is more effective than it is boring. Golden Buffet isn't really boring at all. Soft and dark and pretty at times. They can pick up and get groovy when they wanna. Download these eight great rock tunes right this minute momma winslow cup.
Void Boys
Void Boys is a 4-piece "Soul/Punk/Pop" band from San Francisco, I listened to these 5 songs after hearing that 2 of the members were in Koalacaust so I knew this shit was gonna be good at least but had I no fucking clue every one of these catchy as fuck radio reception tunes would be stuck in my head all day/months long. Void Boys is lo-fi and warm and poppy and welcoming, the vocals are fantastic and probably my favorite part of these songs. The riffs rule, they're sometimes a little gbv-tinged but not really at all. Frida is my favorite song on this. Fucking rock machine shit.
